Open Question: Do I need to add Dependent Care benifits as Wages, Tiups on Form 1040?

Hello - I am filing my Tax on my own (Married filing Jointly). I have a question that do I need to add Dependent Care Benifits ($5000 - Flexible spending Account) as the Wages, Tips etc.

I am using free software and it is adding the above $5000 as Wages. If so, why do we call Dependent care benifts as Tax free $$? It does not make any sense to me..

CAn anyone shed some light on this Please?
Another question will be, If I do something wrong in Tax calculations will there be any affect like penalties?

eg: If I had to pay $400 but if I pay just $200 due to some miscalculations...

My husband is attending school for web design and wants us to buy a new laptop because the ones we have are both very old and close to being unusable. Open Question: A banking transaction question?

Here's something that always makes me wonder. I'm in Canada, but I suspect the situation is similar in many countries.

I do almost all my banking online and with financial software. I pay my bills 3 or 4 days before they are due, (as recommended by both parties) through pre-arranged payments directly from my bank account. So let's say I arrange to pay my Visa on Jan 26. In Jan 26, that money obediently comes out fo my account. On Jan 29, the money shows up in Visa.

Where did it go in the interim? I actually created a fictitious account in Quicken to keep track of the missing money for those three days, so my balances work. But where is the money, and who is collecting the interest? In every transaction, I'm sure the value of the interest would be fractional pennies. but over the whole banking industry, it must amount to massive sums.
Anybody able to explain where the money sits between withdrawal and deposit?

Open Question: Whats the Statue of limitations for selling pirated software illegally?

Two years ago, I sold about 50-100 copies of DVDFab platinum along with 3 other burning programs. I know it was dumb and illegal, but I did it to help me get out of credit card debt. I got several warnings from eBay, but I still kept on selling. I finally got my account suspended by eBay and it took me 4 months to get reinstated. Since then I have not sold anything illegal on Ebay. Can I still get arrested or sued for selling illegal copies. Whats the worse that could happen to me or being caught after two years when the crime was committed? Please no rude comments, I have learned my lesson and don't plan on doing it again, I even picked up a second job, so I can pay the remainder of my debt off. Thank you.

my problem isn't creating another account on WoW per se its how do I get the activation code to really start playing. I don't want a trial copy since its not going to do me any good in the long run.

I have been using '2checkout' for my online credit card processing for 5 years. They are reliable.

However, they are expensive and do not offer a way to take credit cards face to face or over the phone.

I need a credit card swipe machine and I'm told I need a merchant account for this.. I have been selling my software and training movies as a sole proprietor for the last 5 years.

I have not registered any business name.

What do I need to do to be able to accept credit cards face to face and get a credit card swipe machine?

Open Question: decode password to my yahoo mesenger- by using registry files?

Hi, to make a long story short, I changed my password last month because someone told me they hacked my computer. I dont remember my password (on my work account). Last week my computer crashed, since my password was saved and I dont remember it, i thought i was out of luck. (my boss made my id and password so he didnt use my real b-day so i cant press "forgot password").

I recovered my old hard drives registry and restored it to a test computer. I then install yahoo and since the reg. is restored, my password is saved there. Since the entire registry was replaced, obviously things dont run smooth- it was just to be able to sign on though.

I was able to backup the reg folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\pager and on my new working hard drive I deleted the pager folder then restored that folder from my test computer. When I do that, my password is saved again on my new drive and all my apps work just fine. Can I decode the password from the reg now? Any help is appreciated!

This is for a game I'm working on, for the Xbox 360, using XNA.

An object (in this case, a space ship) exists in 3D space. It has X, Y, and Z coordinates and X, Y, and Z rotation.

I need to determine the formulas to calculate the X, Y, and Z movement based on the object's orientation if it were to exert forward thrust.

The sample (given at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb203896.aspx) only shows how to calculate it if you can rotate along the X axis. Here is the code they provide:

modelVelocityAdd.Z = -(float)Math.Cos(modelRotation);

I need similar formulas, taking into account rotation along all 3 axis: X, Y, and Z. Unfortunately, I'm pretty bad at math for a software engineer. Can anyone help?

hey i was just wondering if there is any software out there to select software to backup.
i know its hard because software installs in lots of locations such as program files, user settings, local settings, account settings, registry keys and entries and system32 and windows folders etc... but there is software to backup data and hardware to backup data and also software to backup drivers so why would there be software to backup software. im not talking about backup the whole hard drive. or copying a folder across. i mean select the software you wanna transfer example old pc transfer office 2000 to new pc. just an example or . myob from old pc to new. lots of people dont have there cds or disks and think if i cant do it why upgrade. this is the problem im having and need either software or hardware to backup selected software programs so they work like before. im not talking about cloning or anything like that. its about saying i want this this and not that and transfer or wateva any1
